MLB- Chicago White Sox vs. Detroit Tigers

Yesterday, Detroit overcame two early runs by the White Sox to beat them 5-2. Today, Gavin Floyd pitches for the White Sox, while Justin Verlander is on the mound for the Tigers. Last time Verlander pitched, the White Sox crushed the Tigers 13-2 in Detroit, with Verlander responsible for most of the damage. I think that Verlander will be a bit better today, but I will pick the White Sox to beat him again. Prediction- White Sox 4, Tigers 3.

I think it will be bigger margin of victory for the White Sox. Sox -9 Day Twah -4. The White Sox have a really good team. I actually picked them to finish the season 2nd in their division. I have seen Nick Swisher and Jermaine Dye play many times when I was in CA. It's fun still rooting for them. Good luck today. [ Reply to Comment ]

Now Carlos Guillen is out with a tweaked hammy and the bullpen is still suspect. That said, last night's effort by the bullpen and Miguel Cabrera give me hope. Honestly, I didn't see much from the White Sox last night. I'm hoping their funk continues while the Tigers are in town. I'm going to go with my heart on this one and reverse your score.
