Saturday night's game between the White Sox and Giants will feature two struggling pitchers. Mark Buehrle, who is 1-5 so far this season, will pitch for the visiting White Sox. Barry Zito will pitch for the Giants and try to stop his losing skid. Zito is 0-7 so far this year. It should be a good game, probably high scoring. I will take the White Sox in a close game. Prediction- White Sox 9, Giants 7.

Today the Chicago White Sox will take on the Baltimore Orioles in the windy city. Mark Buehrle will take the mound today for the White Sox, and Brian Burres will pitch for the Orioles. The White Sox avoided a sweep in walk-off fashion last night, and Baltimore took advantage of three errors to win as well. Jermaine Dye has dominated the Orioles so far this year, but he will be out tonight with an injury. I think the White Sox will still be able to beat the Orioles at the cell. Prediction- White Sox 5, Orioles 2.

Yesterday, Detroit overcame two early runs by the White Sox to beat them 5-2. Today, Gavin Floyd pitches for the White Sox, while Justin Verlander is on the mound for the Tigers. Last time Verlander pitched, the White Sox crushed the Tigers 13-2 in Detroit, with Verlander responsible for most of the damage. I think that Verlander will be a bit better today, but I will pick the White Sox to beat him again. Prediction- White Sox 4, Tigers 3.

Barcelona is clinging to second spot in a great race to the top of the Primera Liga table. Today they collide with a Real Betis side that is three points clear of the relegation zone. Barcelona has struggled recently, losing to Valencia in the Cope del Rey Semifinals, and losing two points after conceding a late goal at Almeria. Real Betis has beaten both Real Madrid and Murcia in their last two home games. Can Barcelona get back on track in their attempt to get another title? I think they can. Prediction- Barcelona 2, Real Betis 1.

Both of these teams are coming off of close wins, but both won in different fashions. Texas almost blew an 18 point lead to Miami, while Stanford came back from being down big to Marquette and won in overtime. These two teams are merely identical in every team stat category, so this game should be tight from the opening tip. I think the crowd will be a big influence on this game, and it will go the Longhorns way in the end. Prediction- Texas 76, Stanford 73.
